The Edmond J. Safra Parkinson's Wellness Program

An award-winning partnership between the NYULMC Parkinson and Movement Disorders Center and the JCC in Manhattan.

This ground-breaking, community-based partnership was founded in 2007 to help improve the lives of those impacted by Parkinson’s through fitness, support, education and socialization. Our fitness classes, support groups and events are designed to keep those impacted by Parkinson’s and their families and friends active, connected and empowered.  With a primary focus on dignity, hope and possibility, this internationally recognized program has grown into a welcoming hub for the Parkinson’s community.

All classes, support groups and events are designed specifically for those impacted by Parkinson’s and are taught by experienced, Parkinson’s trained staff at the JCC in Manhattan – a vibrant, state of the art community center on the Upper West Side.

Our fitness trainers, support specialists and program staff have become leaders in the field of integrative, Parkinson’s care.
